DAY 1

Sigiriya

Today, Sigiriya offers her visitors a gallery of 5th – century paintings completed with landscaped gardens unrivalled and unmatched by any contemporary citadel in the world. At 600 feet, the view from the royal pavilion sis arrestingly beautiful. The boulder and the pleasure gardens, admired for 1,500 years, reflect the skill and the technique of the early engineers. the principles used in the design of the gardens, as well as in the construction of both symmetric and asymmetric structures, speak highly for the art and architecture of 5th century Sri Lanka.

DAY 2

Kandy

Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This capital, found by Vimaladharamsurya I in 1592, was the seat of government during the Dutch and Portuguese occupations of the maritime provinces and until British rule in 1815. It’s set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rain forest.

Bentota

Bentota is a city in the south coast of Sri Lanka that will leave you breathless. Facing the Indian Ocean, a tropical lagoon and the Maadu river, it offers you the chance to engage on a myriad of water sports like parasailing and jet skiing, kite surfing, diving and other water sports like nowhere else. Or maybe a quiet river safari on the waters of the Maadu River or the lagoon is more to your fancy. Bentota also is host to a long beach that is mainly un-crowded which makes it perfect for long beach runs or walks taking in the bracing sea air.
